MangAI v1.02 released

New to version 1.02:
-AI improvements to MSM interpretation
Better front and back cover page detection for scans that don’t include “cover” in the filename.
Better handling overspecification of special pages. Overspecification refers to not always treating pages like covers and credits as special since, under certain circumstances, they are better sorted using normal page ordering rules.
Improved MSM sorting, particularly for chapter ordering and special pages.
Better ignoring of version numbers. “v2” meaning “version 2” rather than “volume 2” is a real pita :P
Various other logic improvements.
-Better default settings for Kobo 1 and 2
Thanks to user feedback, the default profiles for kobo1 and kobo2 have been improved. Cbz output is in, epub and pdf are out, and images smaller than the screen size get a white border added to help with centering.
-Auto check for software update
GUI will now automatically check for a new MangAI version once a week. You can still manually check for an update at any time by clicking Help -> Check for Update.

If you are updating from a previous version, you can copy over your old data/mangaigui_jobs.txt file so that you don’t lose your saved jobs. Do not, however, copy over your old data/mangaigui.properties file as its contents has changed in v1.02 (it now includes the last date of auto update check).

Download the latest version from the MangAI project page.

Oops, bug introduced in v1.02 that allowed for potential infinite loop during MSM interpretation. Code has been fixed and will be released tomorrow.

    Added .properties settings profiles for:
eeepad (Asus Eee Pad Transformer and Transformer Prime)
    touchpad (HP TouchPad)
xoom2 (Motorola Xoom 2, this was added in v1.02 but I forgot to mention it)

Email me if you would like a settings profile added for your device.

All the large screen (9-10.1″) Android tablets use the same settings, so if your device isn’t listed you can just choose a similar Android device or use the “default_large” profile.
